Hidden Lake on the Kenai Peninsula Alaska. Just a 3.2 mile drive down Skilak Road from the east enterence near Jims Landing on the Kenai River. Hidden Lake has many camping locations on the shoreline and on the three main islands. Of these islands, our favorite has been Explorer Island at about the half way point in the lake. In this photo we have beached the boat at a campsite near mid way on the north beach. This site sits on a point with an excellent view of the lake and islands but winds can make this site breezy at times. Next Memorial Day 2005 |
