A lonely camper enjoys a day of solitude in the campsite at the Resurrection Creek Gold
Panning Area. There are a number of campsites available here in an prestine wilderness
setting. If you are looking for a great getaway with little noise or intrusion, this may
be the place for you.

Getting to the Resurrection Creek Gold Panning area.
Drive south from Anchorage on the Seward Highway 71 miles to the Hope Turnoff. Continue 17
miles down this scenic highway and as you pass the Bowman's Bear Creek Lodge is a gravel road
turning off to the left. Follow this road to the Resurrection Creek Road turnoff. It's only
about 3.5 miles to the Gold Panning area and Trail Head.
