Homer is the main access point for Kachemak Bay, Sadie Cove, Halibut Cove, China Poot Bay and the villages of Seldovia English Bay and Port Graham.

Whether it's the magnificent scenery or the fantastic halibut and salmon fishing you seek, Homer Alaska has the opportunities waiting for you. The Homer Spit is a thin natural sand peninsula that jets out into Kachemak Bay. Approx. 500 acres in size, the spit is where you will find the Homer boat harbor, halibut charters, boat launch and fishing lagoon. There are campgrounds, restaurants and shops all within walking distance of each other.

You can charter a boat to go clam digging across the bay or sightseeing in the clear blue waters of Kachemak Bay.
