Campgrounds Alaska
  Hope Alaska

Hope Highway, Hope Alaska.

Hope Cut Off: Starting at mile 56 of the Seward Highway, just west of the new Canyon Creek bridge, you arrive at the Hope junction. Here you can take a scenic 17.8 mile side trip that follows six mile creek, down through the small town of Sunrise, and up along Turnagain Arm to the old 1880's gold rush town of Hope.

The road was repaved in 2005 and is in excellent condition with many pulloffs in stratgic locations with views of six mile river, the canyons, and valleys.

Seaview RV Park, at the end of main street in Hope Alaska. There are two main campgrounds in the area along with a small RV park at the end of Main Street in downtown Hope. This is a great place to start your explorations of the areas rich gold mining history. Not all of those mines are closed as active mining still plays a vital role in the livelihood of this quiet town where Resurrection Creek flows into Turnagain Arm.
